Provinces

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is a landlocked and mountainous country in South-Central Asia, with plains in the north and southwest.Total area of Afghanistan is 647,500 sq km. There are thirty four provinces in the country. Capital of Aghanistan is Kabul.

At the moment NAC is working mainly in 4 provinces with an administrative office in Kabul. All the activity is in the Easter part of the coutry:

  • Kabul (Center-East)
  • Badakhshan (North-East, on the border with Tajikistan and Pakistan)
  • Ghazni (Center-East)
  • Kunar (East, on the border with Pakistan)
  • Nangarhar (East, on the border with Pakistan).

In addition to our administrative office in Kabul, Nac also has local field offieces in Ghanzni and Badakshan.
